The Kyoto University SIAM Student Chapter recently participated in The 17th SIAM East Asian Section Conference (EASIAM2024). Three of our members had the opportunity to present their research and engage in fruitful exchanges with members from the SIAM Student Chapters of Waseda University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and City University of Hong Kong.

These presentations showcased our members’ innovative research in applied mathematics and optimization. The event was a valuable platform for networking and exchanging ideas with fellow student researchers from across the region.
