2024年9月13日に「The 1st Kyoto and Waseda SIAM Student Chapter Conference」が開催されました。京都大学理学部3号館152号室で行われ、参加者は研究発表やポスターセッションを通じて活発な議論を交わしました。当日のプログラムは、口頭発表とポスター発表のセッションで構成されており、20名の参加者が集まりました。口頭発表では6名がそれぞれの研究内容を発表し、ポスター発表では10名が自身の研究を紹介しました。
今年のカンファレンスは、参加者同士のネットワーキングや意見交換が活発に行われ、非常に充実した一日となりました。口頭発表およびポスター発表は質の高い研究が披露され、特に計算科学や応用数学の分野において、多くの重要な成果が共有されました。
来年度も引き続き、より多くの参加者が集い、素晴らしい発表と議論ができる場を提供できるように準備を進めていきます。今回参加できなかった方も、ぜひ次回はご参加ください！
The 1st Kyoto and Waseda SIAM Student Chapter Conference, held on September 13th, 2024, was successfully conducted. The conference was held in Room 152 of the Faculty of Science Building No. 3 at Kyoto University, where participants engaged in fruitful discussions through research presentations and poster sessions. The day’s program consisted of oral presentations and poster sessions, with 20 participants in total. Six speakers gave oral presentations, while 10 participants shared their research in the poster sessions.
This year’s conference provided a vibrant platform for networking and exchanging ideas among participants. The oral and poster presentations showcased high-quality research, particularly in the fields of computational science and applied mathematics, with many significant contributions being shared.
