Graceville station opened in 1876. Between 1885 and 1887, the line through the station was duplicated. In 1959, the current station building opened. The line was electrified through the station to Darra on 17 November 1979. On 12 June 2009, the station was added to the Queensland Heritage Register.
Graceville station was named after the homonymous suburb of Graceville which was named after the daughter of Samuel Grimes who was the local member for Oxley from 1878 to 1902.
Graceville station has four platforms consisting of two island platforms. Platform 1 is for outbound services and platform 2 is for inbound services. Platform 3 is for peak Ipswich and Rosewood services and platform 4 is for peak Caboolture, Kippa-Ring and Nambour services.
Graceville station has two entrances. One is on Appel Street and the other is on Honour Avenue.
Graceville doesn’t have any disability access.
