CURRICULUM

MATATAG Curriculum encapsulates core values of patriotism (Makabansa), humanity (Makatao), and environmental and spiritual consciousness (Makakalikasan). This curriculum is designed to nurture well-rounded individuals who demonstrate dedication, compassion, and awareness of environmental issues.

The curriculum emphasizes the simplification of essential skills for younger students, specifically those in Kindergarten through Grade 3, in order to enhance their learning experience. Additionally, it prioritizes the relevance of education by aligning subjects with real-world applications, effectively preparing students for their future careers.

I created a lesson plan based on the MATATAG Curriculum for Kindergarten 2 at the UNP Laboratory School. This plan was developed with the guidance and support of my mentor and cooperating teachers to ensure it aligns with the curriculum used at the school.
