UNEP has a number of existing projects aimed to build statistical capacity on the SDG indicators and broader environment statistics in countries. This includes collecting and using data for better decision making. These projects are referenced across the SDG themes and are listed here. These projects are not conducted in isolation, but through partnership. Currently, UNEP is working on an online training which will cover all the indicators under UNEP custodianship.
