Athletes and teams of all skill and experience come from across the country to compete on the national stage. It is the the pinnacle club water polo event that marks the end of the season. Teams compete over a 4-day period within their respective age group category. The tournament alternates between even-years in San Jose and odd-years in Orange County.

Teams must qualify for one of the 3 divisions of Junior Olympics (Championship, Classic, and Invitational). Each USAWP zone hosts a qualifying tournament, called Regional JOs, in May/June to determine the teams that will advance to Junior Olympics in each division.
10u/12u/14u Regional JO qualifiers are held throughout San Diego around May 28 - June 4. Athletes that want to be considered for a roster spot on our Junior Olympic teams must be available for all days/dates of the qualifying tournament and Junior Olympic tournament. Please communicate with coaches before scheduling summer family vacations.
