TROs are eligible to undertake Sniper Training and join the Marksman Team, an elite group consisting of highly trained personnel, including Gold Command, SCO-19 Command, and Tactical Rifle Officers+. Once qualified as a Marksman, you are authorised to carry a sniper rifle, such as the Remington 700 or any whitelist Sniper Rifle, during your day-to-day patrols. However, when deployed with a sniper rifle, TROs are restricted to carrying an SMG as their secondary firearm.

TROs are also eligible to become Robot Trained. To obtain this training, officers must read the relevant handbook and contact a member of SCO-19 Command to arrange the training.

Candidates must have served a minimum of three months as a TRO before becoming eligible for promotion. To unlock the additional privileges associated with the STRO rank, officers are also expected to actively contribute to the division by hosting mandatory training sessions or delivering other specialist training, such as CTSFO-related courses.

Promotion to STRO is made at the discretion of SCO-19 Command once an officer has proven they are capable of taking on the increased responsibilities of the role. As an STRO, you will be expected to uphold and promote the highest standards of professionalism, leadership, and operational excellence within SCO-19.
