At this level, OFCs play a key role in developing the next wave of firearms officers and are authorised to deliver Glock, Shotgun, Basic Negotiation and Breaching Training to other members of the faction.

OFCs are granted access to specialist equipment, including the SIG MCX assault rifle, Flashbangs, and Smoke Grenades. They are eligible to undertake High-Speed Training and have the authority to authorise Low-Speed tactical contact when appropriate. They are also eligilble to complete Helicopter Training.

As senior members of SCO-19, OFCs are expected to set the standard for the division, provide guidance to junior officers, and ensure that training and operations are conducted to the highest possible standard.

Before being considered for promotion to TRO, officers must fulfil their duties as an OFC, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and maintaining a professional attitude both on patrol and whilst conducting training sessions.

Promotion to TRO is awarded at the discretion of SCO-19 Command once an officer has proven they are ready to take on the additional responsibilities associated with the role. Officers must show a sustained commitment to the division, lead by example, and consistently uphold the standards expected of senior firearms officers.
