Plain Clothing is a strictly monitered perk, only available to officers who have been granted it as a reward or by becoming part of the CTSFO team. 

All plain clothing must be authorised by SCO-19 Command within the #clothing-auth channel before it can be used on patrol. This includes:

• Full plain clothing outfits

• Mixing divisional uniforms items with plain clothing

In order to get authorisation for your specific outfit, you will need to submit both front and back screenshots of your character so that SCO-19 Command can review it.

If you are caught abusing this perk in any way, it could result in the removal of your plain clothes or a blacklist. SCO-19, CID and Gold Command have the final authority when it comes to what clothing is permitted. These regulations can be changed at any time.

As for members of CT-Pilot and CT-Driver, you are not permitted to wear plain clothing. If you are wanting to use plain clothes whilst clocked on as these ranks, you must change in to your correct divisional uniform.

Hats

Police branding must be clearly visable at all times for it to be clear that you are a police officer, having an unmarked hat or helmet can result in RDM bans being issued, regardless if police have initiation or not.

When wearing plain clothes:

• Your hat must clearly be marked as police (e.g. Hat: 2/5)

• Your vest must clearly be marked as police

• Your hair must not obstruct the police markings on your hat

Helmets

Helmets are not permitted with plain clothing unless it has been authorised by SCO-19 Command or Gold Command

The following exeptions apply:

• Helmet 22 is authorised for all CTSFO members

• SCO-19 Command can wear helmets with plain clothes

Helmets must not be used with any smart attire unless authorised by SCO-19 Command or Gold Command

Glasses must be professional and realistic.

Below are example of glasses that are not permitted:

• Star shaped glasses

• USA flag glasses

• Unrealistic or distracting designs

Please use common sense when choosing your glasses. Any attempt to push the boundaries could result in disciplinary action.

The following ear accessories are permitted:

• Professional earpieces

• Standard earrings

The following ear accessories are not permitted

• Airpods or other wireless ear buds

• Large hanging earrings

• Novelty earrings (Playing Cards etc)

You are only allowed to wear a mask if you are using plain clothes while clocked on, CTSFO, CTD, CTP, and CID - Your mask must remain black unless you are CTSFO who wear grey. Mask 3 (P) Index 13 and Mask 2 (P) Index 10 can be utilised by SCO-19 OFC+, CTSFO

Masks are only to be used when using plain clothes whilst clocked on as one of the following divisions:

• SCO-19

• CTSFO

• CT-Driver

• CT-Pilot

• CID

Approved mask colours:

• Black (All Divisions)

• Grey (Only CTSFO)

Authorsised Masks

• Mask 3 (Police) - Index 13

• Mask 2 (Police) - Index 10

Prohibited Clothing
The following list are not permitted:

• Bright or Fluorescent colours (e.g. Hot Pink)

• Outlandish patterns

• Large logos

• Tie-Dye patterns

• Crop Tops

• Recognised 'fragging' outfits (e.g. Manor Shirts)

Please be aware, this list is only a guide and exemptions can be made if SCO-19 or Gold Command deem it to be suitable for policing. If you are unsure if your clothing choices are suitable please use the #clothing-auth channel and wait for a Command member to respond. If you are caught using one of the prohibited items, it could result in you being blacklisted from plain clothing.

Arms and Torso must remain professional and suitable for policing. Below are gloves that are permitted:

• Standard Gloves

• Surgical Gloves

Prohibited Gloves

• Gauntlets / Armoured Gloves

• Arms that leave visable gaps or holes

Joggers and Jeans are fine to be worn as plain clothing; however, any form of shorts is not allowed. They must be plain and must cover your entire body even if the logo is little it will not be permitted. Under no circumstances should any of your rear end be exposed. Sagging pants are not permitted.

The following legs are permitted:

• Plain Jeans

• Plain Joggers

Prohibited Legs:

• Shorts

• Legs with large logos

• Legs with outlandish patterns

• Legs that sag below the waistline

• Any legs that expose your underwear or rear

Permitted Shoes:

• Plain Trainers (e.g. Air Force style trainers)

• Plain Black or White footwear

• Professional footwear with neutral colours

Prohibited Shoes:

• Bright or fluorescent coloured shoes

• Novelty or unrealistic footwear

The only divisions that are eligible for Mix & Match are the following:

• Special Constable

• SCO-19 

• Gold Command

When wearing Mix & Match, it must be clear that you are a police officer, this comes with the same punishments as not wearing a marked hat. 

When wearing Mix & Match you must wear:

• Marked Divisional Vest

• Marked Police Hat

College of Polcing vests are not permitted to be worn with plain clothing at any time as they are not clearly identifiable at a distance.
