SCO-19 is the most elite division within the CMG PS and having active members is of utmost importance to keeping it this way. Due to this we are changing, or rather ‘enforcing’ the LOA policy within SCO-19.
If you are planning to take a leave of absence for more than 14+ days, you will be moved to the rank of ‘Unauthorised Firearms Officer’. This means that you will not be allowed to use your specialist firearms if you are planning on clocking on through your LOA.
We believe that placing officers onto the ‘Unauthorised Firearms Officer’ roster is fair. This stops the abuse of LOAs, we do not want to punish hard working officers due to the actions of a few.

Unauthorised firearms officer
An Unauthorised Firearms Officer is someone who has taken an extended LOA or someone that cannot commit to the hours of SCO19 for a period of time. Once added to the ‘UFO’ roster, you will not be allowed to use your specialist firearms such as Shotguns, SMGs, Assault Rifles or Sniper Rifles if you do decide to clock on. You can go back to your current rank whenever you please, however, you must end your LOA before you can gain these firearms back.
