The probationary AFO is the rank all members of SCO-19 start out as, and the rank you get once you pass the SCO-19 intake training. This probationary period lasts for 2 weeks dependant on activity and punishments.
This probationary period is put in place to assess the officers professionalism and commitment to the division as well as proving that they can adhere to the divisions high standards.
As a pAFO, you can now patrol as a member of SCO-19. You will be equipped with a SMG (Sting 9mm) for your first week in the division, moving on to the MP5 in your second week.
Within your first week as a pAFO, you are on a strict 1 strike system. Any form of punishment, divisional or faction will result in you losing your position within SCO-19.
In order to be promoted, you will need to have completed both your 2 week probationary period and the 3 hour ridealong with a SFO+. This ridealong can be completed at any time within the 1 first week but it is recommended that you get it done as soon as possible.
Once you have completed the 2 week probation, you will be promoted up to an Authorised Firearms Officer. This is where you will complete your Assault Rifle training and unlock the ability to patrol with a G36C assault rifle or your own whitelist.
