FYI: My belief is that my advance class EDP-TP & ADP students can DO IT & should get the credit for doing it. This sometimes requires that I miss school day(s) for training, but I know it is time well spent. For students to recieve the credit all they must do I fill out the proper form & pay $10-$30, depending upon the college. The college will request confirmation from CHS & then the student recieves it, just like a AP course. I have completed my training & certification for EG & AD. This is something I must renew via training at least every two years. I have made sure that these courses match or articulate with the same curriculm Houston Community Colleges, Montgomery Community Colleges, TAMU EG, & SHSU EG programs. That means that my students are doing college level work, to recieve the ATC college credit. I have even taught as an adjunct lecturer in the IT department at SHSU 2004-2008.
