Date: The cluster breakouts are scheduled for Monday afternoon, October 3, 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM.
Objectives are to help new teachers:
Become familiar with the CTE TEKS for the STEM course(s) they teach and how to use them in your lessons:
1. Gain awareness of the parts of the CTE TEKS for their specific cluster
2. Practice unpacking TEKS for at least one of the courses they teach
3. Write specific, measurable, short-term, observable student behaviors (learning objectives) related to the TEKS
4 Tips & tricks to help you in the classroom
5. Brainstorm session to meet your needs
I need to know how to../Comments/Questions/Ideas, etc.. ("parking lot", exit ticket, etc.. alternative)
