The Education at Your Doorstep was a project designed to bring a wholesome developmental model to children in rural communities during the Covid-19 pandemic. The shutdown of preprimary Anganwadis and primary schools has disproportionately affected many children in remote areas.  It was observed by the LSF team that 80% of the rural children were not benefitting from online learning as there was no or low network in such areas. Bringing education to the doorsteps of children was by far a more sustainable solution. 

This model has been transformed to both "in school" & "out of school", a community-driven effort where members participate in the activities along with the children on weekends, after four days in the school week. We want to empower the children, teachers, parents and community and bringing a top quality skills based education to every village, by offering an integrated form of learning and development to children.

The primary objective is to remove the possibility of any break down in early and primary education in the future, in the face of any pandemic or shutdown.
