Regular schools were closed, and villages were losing out on a wholesome education. In response, the process of starting a Doorstep School program began. A Doorstep School, as the name suggests, brings the school to the child when the child cannot reach the school.

Now, the challenge lay in making children motivated! So we looked through the prescribed books from Grades 1 to 4 and found the themes had no logical flow. It seemed like a badly assembled puzzle...a poem here, a story or game there, and so on.  To make these lessons enjoyable, we had to make them relevant... and so we did!
