This is my 3rd book trailer and since, I couldn't make a good book trailer last and last last one, I tried to make this one high quality. So, I used stop motion but it took tons of time, so as editing. But I did my best and I am quite satisfied with my work so please enjoy my book trailer.
The sequence of the miniature car being run across the road as the narrator explains his mission as a taxi driver leaves a strong impression. Using footage of a miniature car adds both a dynamic and a heartwarming feel to the trailer. The music is used effectively. Overall, an impressive piece that captures the viewer's interest!

This was my second time creating the book trailer. In my book trailer, I tried to achieve my goals that I made so that I can make a satisfied book trailer this year. My goal was to make a trailer which viewer doesn’t get tired of seeing it and also to make a trailer with a deep content that has some impacts on it. I hope viewers get interested in my trailer and the book.

This was my second time participating in the sakura medal book trailer contest. I used the knowledge and skills gained from my first year, and I was able to make a better trailer in my opinion. I used stop motion for the video, and it was a fun experience to use paper and objects to make my trailer, because the first year I was only using my computer, and it resulted in a non-unique trailer.
A trailer that clearly explains the premise of the novel in a stylish manner. The silhouettes used to tell the story seems to create a medieval European feel, as well as represent the witches' suffering and loneliness. This is a very professional-looking and impressive trailer! Too much text information shortens the time to enjoy the beautiful images.
A lot of creativity has gone into telling the story using the diorama. Showing character’s feeling by using the domino pieces was especially impressive . It was also good that the trailer clearly explains the premise of the novel. Reducing the text and adding narration would draw more attention to the audience.

Since it was my second time creating the book trailer, I devoted time, and thought into this. Not only that, I decided to focus on animations and images, not hand drawn images. I also made it so that the video has two atmospheres, one that is sad, and one that is like a movie. Together with the atmosphere, I made a back music corresponding to the mood.
It was good combination of hand made items and pictures parts. The civil war scene was pretty impressive. The sound effects are used effectively. As narration improves, this trailer gets even better.

Since this book is written from different perspectives from the two main characters in the story, I had to carefully choose between the perspectives, depending on the effectiveness of the book trailer. Some points that I have especially considered when making the book trailer is to choose out appropriate and suitable videos, animations and songs for the book in order to make the book trailer more appealing and entertaining for the audience.

This was my second time making a book trailer in the middle school section. I had a hard time drawing the characters but I really enjoyed making this. I especially enjoyed looking for the sound because changing the sound made the image of the book very different. Last year, I didn't put any narration so this year, I tried putting it in. It was very easy to read the caption smoothly because the narration overlapped.
The images are clean and stylish. Sound effects are also being used successfully. You might be able to further appeal the beauty of the film by adding some narration.
The story line is introduced well and narration is very clear and easy to listen to. Great use of sound effects and music, but the graphics are rather plain. It can be made more creative & intriguing.

For this year's book trailer I planned to make an impactful piece. For example I focused on reality, and expressed what I think is the main message in the book is by using a phrase from a well known poem. Also I filmed a part of the climax. I tried to pull people's attention by making a contrast between the intense visuals and a normal character setting. I'm surprised about the time when I spent 40 minutes on a scene.
To make this trailer, I used I movie. There were some issues because of the new updates but I overcame them all. For the drawings I used a software on the computer which made it harder to draw but it wasn't too hard.
The thrilling camera work made us wonder what what would happen next. The trailer could be improved if you use narration and tone of the voice more effectively. Using narration and tone of voice more effectively would make the trailer more attractive.
The Japanese captions and the music are great! Narration would make it more appealing.

This was my second time making my book trailer. I drew the characters of the book and took pictures of them. Last year, I mostly used free images, but this time, I drew the characters and took pictures to have creativity and originality. I enjoyed making the trailer.

Our book trailer is on a book called Kiminonawa by Makoto Shinkai. We worked hard on analyzing the plot without spoiling too much and also using many images to keep the trailer interesting. A challenge we had making the trailer was looking for images and music to use in our trailer and also to finish this on time, since we started pretty late on the project.
A very cute, heartwarming, and clear trailer. It was easy to imagine this class in this particular night school, thanks to the drawings and how they were placed in actual school settings. The text picks up the main points of the novel clearly. Perhaps it was better not to change the style in the middle of the movie.
It is a well-written text with nice images. It would be a more impressive book trailer with some added narration and effective sound effects.
