To ensure that the students used various digital tools and achieved basic digital competence in the elements of digital citizenship they had to take a series of tests and quizzes (see below) planned as milestones during the course of the project: at the beginning, during the meetings, in the middle and at the end of the project. Before giving them the tests there was previous work with the students to help them identify appropriate and inappropriate uses of technology.

Passing the tests was like learning to drive a car, just in the same way as vehicle users must follow "the rules of the road" to get a driver's license.

All the students who completed the tests successfully and participated in the common tasks were awarded with a digital driver's license, which was handed to the participating students in each school at the end of the project period.
