LEYTE- As part of its goal to transform farmers into entrepreneurs, around 120 farmer beneficiaries of the Special Area for Agricultural Development (SAAD) Program Phase 2 in the Province of Leyte were trained on agricultural marketing and enterprise this June 2024.

ALMAGRO, SAMAR - To enhance the skills on swine production of farmers belonging to Brgy. Bacjao Livestock Raisers Association, the Special Area for Agricultural Development (SAAD) in Eastern Visayas organized a Food Production and Livelihood (FPL) Training in Brgy. Bacjao, Almagro, Samar.

SOUTHERN LEYTE- Forty (40) Southern Leyte farmers were educated with technical insights on egg production projects during the simultaneous conduct of livelihood training of the Special Area for Agricultural Development (SAAD) Program Phase 2 on May 21 to 23, 2024.

Tacloban City - To uplift the most economically deprived areas while securing food in the community, 21 farmer groups from Eastern Visayas were assisted to establish an egg production project under the Special Area for Agricultural Development (SAAD) Program Phase 2.
