JULITA, LEYTE - In order to review and evaluate the implementation of the Special Area for Agricultural Development (SAAD) Program in the Province of Leyte, the Department of Agriculture - Regional Field Office 8, through the SAAD Provincial Project Management Support Office (PPMSO) - Leyte conducted its 4th Quarter Provincial Assessment on December 4, 2024 in Julita, Leyte.

Thus, the demand for eggs in the Philippines has increased. This inspired farmer associations in Southern Leyte to step up their game and ramp up egg production to meet consumer needs.
