Half-year harvest: Pili farmers reap ₱412K from egg layer project
ALMERIA, BILIRAN - A group of farmers from Barangay Pili, Almeria, Biliran has achieved remarkable success in their egg layer project, recording ₱412,246.00 in gross sales from January to June this year.
VICTORIA, NORTHERN SAMAR - Having an operating expense at Php 38,340.00, they reached Php 185,080.00 total sales. The impressive net income of Php 146,732.00 emphasized the effective and efficient technologies they applied in their vegetable farming.
ALMERIA, BILIRAN - After deducting all production costs, the farmers managed to save a collective Php 170,000 since last year, a remarkable feat considering most members had little to no access to formal livelihood before joining SAAD.
SAMAR - This initiative educated the farmers on the correct recording of the associations’ physical and financial transactions for them to easily monitor their farming activities, serving as a key tool to improve their data organization and agricultural enterprise sustainability.
