Study of Persian Geometry

These modernized Girih patterns have been elaborated by the use of three levels of design.

1. The traditional straightedge and compass construction.

2. The construction of a grid of polygons to create a set of Girih tiles.

3. Drawing lines on Girih tiles in non-repetitive novel expression.

This research-practice will be continued.
