A study on the creating new materials in sculpture

In this project which took about 8 months, I tested different compounds and materials at the same temperature. It was found that 12 out of 56 testes had significant and interesting results that can be used in sculpting.

My goal was to discover novel types of crystals in different salt compositions. During this process, I enlisted the help of a chemistry professor, Prof. Vahid Amani, whose studies were in organic chemistry to approximate the results somewhat. As a whole, it was an experimental process that surprised me with innovative forms. This project will be continued in the future.
