A study on three Bacteria in the air

Microbiology and art interdisciplinary

This microbial artwork is created by culturing microorganisms in certain patterns. The microbes that I used are bacteria of breathing air. I chose 3 microbes for their natural colors such as Micrococcus luteus (yellow), Micrococcus roseus (pink) Serratia marcescens (pink or orange). I use Agar plates as a canvas. I did these artworks in Microbiological laboratory of Al-Zahra University of Tehran.
