Main characters
Casper (English: Calvin): a 6-year-old boy with a huge imagination and numerous alter egos (such as the T-Rex, Spaceman Spiff, and Hyperman). His best friend is his toy tiger Hobbes, with whom he has all sorts of adventures.
Hobbes: In his living form, Hobbes is a character in his own right. Like the philosopher after whom he is named, Hobbes has a cynical view of humanity. He is proud to be a tiger.
Casper's mother: nameless, a housewife and mother. She's the polar opposite of Casper's eccentric behavior.
Casper's father: nameless, works in an office. He dislikes commercialism and enjoys outdoor activities that build character.
Susie Derkins: Casper's girl next door. That's the reason Casper founded AMMO. ( All the Girls Must Get Out of Here ) (Gross, an acronym for Get Rid of Slimy Girl S ) .
Recurring supporting characters
Roosje/Els (In the first comics): the babysitter (English: Rosalyn). The only one who scares Casper. He does everything he can to make her life miserable.
Hammie/Ab (English: Moe): Casper's classmate. Hammie is the typical rude type who bullies smaller kids. He regularly threatens Casper, for example, for his money or lunch.
The teacher of his school, Miss Wormwood, who is pushed to the limit by Casper, forcing him to regularly visit the headmaster.
