CAS Learning Outcome:
5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
7: Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions
My friends and I went to clean Mr. Brian's classroom, a science lab. Mr. Brian is our biology teacher, and we do a lot of experiments there so he has many kinds of scientific tools, but because everyone uses them often, it is not always cleaned and organized. Therefore, my friends and I cleaned inside the cabinets because maids at school don't clean inside the cabinets or wash beakers. My other friends were washing beakers today. All of us worked together to clean the classroom we use, so we, and also other students that Mr. Brian has, can use tools for next experiments easily and conveniently in a cleaned environment. Because we worked together, we could work efficiently as well.

CAS Learning Outcome:
2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process
5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
Since the beginning of November, my friend and I were devoted into making soap. Then, the chemistry teacher who taught us how to make soap, Ms. Tanya, offered us an opportunity to teach her G7 class how to make soap and how the pH is related to soap. According to her, it is a good opportunity for us to teach our knowledge we gained recently to others, and it is also good for the G7 class as they were learning about acid and base in their science class.
Although it was a short class, a period class (45 minute class), I enjoyed it. I was a bit nervous in the beginning because I had not talked to the students in the G7 class before, but they were listening to us seriously and asked some questions, which I was very happy about. I also thank my friend for doing this together because we were able to help each other in this first time experience. Thanks to her, my nervousness was relieved. I hope I could teach how to make soap more in the future.

CAS Learning Outcome:
6: Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance
Being part of the PAWS club, I participated in selling handmade crafts (made by me and my friend) and PAWS bags at the booth for fundraising for PAWS organization to help cats in need. On the 15th of December, we had the booth at On Nut campus, and variety of students and teachers came to buy. On the 18th, we went to the Bang Na campus to have the booth. Because Bang Na campus is for kindergarten students and primary students, not many students bought because they were too young to have money, but because we brought two cats from our campus for students there to interact with, they all understood that there are cats that are in need. Some students actually donated money without buying anything, and some students spent all their money to buy whatever at our booth. Looking at them, I felt that I could participate in engaging with issues and spreading awareness about stray cats that are in need, and we were able to raise a large amount of fund.

6: Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance
There was a CAS Showcase at school, where we could set up the booth for merchandize to raise funds for donation. Taking this opportunity, the club I am in, Sign Club, set up the booth and sold small cakes ordered from outside (for sanitary concerns in times of pandemic), to raise funds to donate to the deaf community. Normally during the meetings in the club, we learn sign language, but our aim is also to spread awareness of deaf culture. This time, however, the G12 students needed to present their CAS in their showcase, so they could not help us at the booth. Moreover, everyone in the club aside from the G12 students was all G9 students including me. It was our first time setting up the booth without older students helping us out, so we really needed to work together to make it possible. Fortunately, our collaboration was successful and the cakes were sold quite well. We also accepted orders for new shirts designed by our club, and some teachers came to order, which made me happy as a club member.
