CAS Learning Outcome:
2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process
This was the first MUN conference ever since I have joined the MUN Club in August that year. Although it was tough because it was new to me and I was overwhelmed by how the delegates from other schools were talented public speakers, I was fascinated by how MUN works. I was inspired by the other delegates that came to our school for this conference, and I chose to continue because I want to be like them, who were able to speak confidently, talk friendly with people that they met for the first time, and come up with quality resolutions. This experience became the first step for me to engage in the MUN community.

CAS Learning Outcome:
2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process
5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
6: Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance
This was the second MUN conference I took part in, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation, this conference was held online, using Google Meet. Because it was my second conference, I knew how the MUN conference goes, and I was able to speak up much more than in the previous conference. However, I still found it a bit tough because I was not confident enough to talk to new people, but the other delegates and chairs were very friendly and kind, so they helped me out when I had doubts. Because we knew that we have virtual conference, we exchanged our contacts on Instagram, made group chats, and started communicating with one another from one or two weeks before hand. Therefore, I got to know and talk with new people much more than the previous time. We worked together for days on our resolution paper in detail and helped each other out, so our conference went smoothly. Moreover, I got to be more aware of what is happening in this world today by thinking about the solution to the issues we were given.
