Although I have done small hiking in the past, this was my first time hiking with steep slopes for a long time. It was harder than I expected. However, it was bearable thanks to nature's beauty. Aside from learning to appreciate the aesthetic value of nature, I was also reminded about the importance of exercise. It was very tough in the beginning, but as I continued walking, I gradually got used to it. Some tips I learned from this experience is to breathe in from my nose, slow down when going down on a slope (as I wouldn't be able to stop if I don't), and bring fan or wipe sweat often to cool down.

CAS Learning Outcome:
2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process
4: Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences
5: Demonstrate the skills and recognise the benefits of working collaboratively
Around 15 seniors, including myself, came together to have a dance performance on the International Day. We chose songs from different countries, found choreography to those songs on YouTube, and memorized the dance. Although I used to dance in my childhood, it was my first time dancing to different countries' songs and their own different styles. It was interesting getting to learn different types of songs and the style of dancing. We practiced many times during our free time at school, such as lunch and after school, and with the collaborative effort, we were able to perform well on the day of the performance. I was glad that I was able to do the dance with my classmates, because it was fun and encouraging learning the dance with them. I don't think I could have enjoyed this much without them.
