Darrin Johns

Darrin’s career spanned 37 years in the financial services industry where his roles included systems analysis, project management, administrative management, marketing analysis, field management staff development and oversight, client management, sales and client consulting. The effective use of technology was important to all aspects of his career.

When Darrin first attended the Computer Technology Volunteers (RH-CTV) Sessions in autumn 2023, he was (and still is) very impressed by the large number of seniors who also attended, and their enthusiasm and interest in technology. It reinforced the fact that our generation is not a bunch of ‘Boomers’ stuck in the past, unwilling and unprepared to embrace change, but rather a vibrant and curious lot looking for ways to make the best use of newly evolving technological developments. He feels privileged to learn from those who come to the meetings and is fortunate as a RH-CTV volunteer to be able to help his fellow seniors satisfy their curiosity and find ways to use technology to enhance their lives.
