There is an enormous and ever growing amount of information and useful functions which computers can provide to help in our daily lives. However learning how computers (don't) think and behave can seem quite daunting. Our "techies" volunteer as instructors for the City of Richmond Hill Adult 55+ member computer courses that are generally introductory in nature and designed to make learning as simple as possible, and have some fun in the process.
The following are some of the courses/workshops available. See the Older Adults 55+ section of the Recreation Guide for detailed course descriptions, dates offered and registration instructions. Registration for City's programs can also be done online via the Richmond Hill ActiveRH website starting Wednesday, March 4th for the Spring Session and Wednesday, May 27th for the Summer Session.
