On Friday 27th July our boys 1st Quad raced at Henley qualifiers. Racing for a spot in one of the hardest events to qualify, the Fawley challenge cup, the boys raced very well and put out a race they can be proud of. Unfortunately on the day they were not quite at the speed to qualify, narrowly missing out on a qualification spot for the prestigious regatta. We hope to be back faster and stronger next year with the goal of qualifying for the regatta.

Seniors , J16s & J15s plans up to and including Half Term
In case of ongoing red boards, we have made bookings at Dorney for these dates starting next weekend. Dorney is only open in the mornings at weekends AND if they have enough bookings to make it viable. We may cancel them, but they are in place. We will send invites out as we go along and based on the coaches advice & availability,
Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th October
We are waiting to see if the J14s race is on at Bedford on Sunday, as this will determine whether they come to Dorney instead so who rows when should be clear by mid-week.

for the Sunday they have another event
J15s - sessions would be Sunday mornings and need to be co-ordinated with the J14 sessions.

For J15s there will be a Poll to work out which sessions we will offer at half term alongside the J16s and Seniors.

For TAA and Games the boys rowing must:
(a) be signed up on SPOND,
(b) if they usually attend but aren't coming please update SPOND by 9am on the day (a reason would help) then I will tell Attendance, Miss Caesar (Games) or Mr Fossey (TAA) who isn’t coming
(c) the boys going rowing need to sign out using the sign out process.
(d) any late cancellations can be reported to the school by the coach. If the rower is missing with no reason, this will also be reported.
If they don't sign out and should have gone rowing then alarm bells will go off about where they are. So if they find they can't go between 9am and 1:30pm please get a message me and we will inform the school - we will need a reason
