Doesn’t seem fair, right? Now, what does one do when your people are decimated from the supposed moral good of the world? Once Calihan was of age after having lost his entire family, he fought back when he joined a guerrilla operation meant to push back oppressors. But wait, the moment you do, you’re branded a troublemaker and must be put into his place. Branded a criminal with a bounty on his head, Calihan and his comrades had the most powerful governments out for him. There was no good or evil to him, only an eye for an eye; he knew he was no better and the blood on his hands would never wash off, but Calihan did not care. They will all pay.

The woman who would become known as Miss Cherry began running arms through legal and illegal means as a way to achieve wealth for her and her younger sister. She did not pay much attention as to where her weapons wound up; arms are sold to any and all buyers, ranging from rebel factions fighting against authoritative dictators to governments looking to suppress and control. There is no good and bad to Miss Cherry, only the never ending flow of cash flowing into her cartel to upkeep her organization and to supply a better way of living for her sister who lives far, away, and out of her life to keep her safe from her criminal activities. Her last remaining family is all that remains and she will do whatever she can protect her. One day, she enlists the protection of Delgado as her ongoing projects have her bounty raised to numbers where even companies are vying for the money. To her initially, Delgado is a means to an end, a way to combat these seemingly never-ending threats to her power. But she realizes how relentlessly protective Delgado is of her and has him accompany her everywhere.

A nomadic soul known as Wart. Not much is known about this warrior aside from having skill, prowess, and speed is unmatched by any known being. The name itself is given from the toad-like mask they sport, covering their face. Any records, ranging from officially written and documented to oral recollections and hearsay, speak of Wart eradicating gangs and crime syndicates like a vigilante to toppling unspeakable monstrosities like a folk hero. Regardless of the story, there lies veracity, as towns talk of peaceful times rid of crime and villages mention plentiful bounties now that predators are no longer destroying farms and killing local animal populations. Deep digging into records mention someone whose description matches Wart to a degree present at any natural or man-made disaster that ravaged city-states though it is often argued that Wart had no involvement and perhaps there were tragedies even the legendary hero could not stop. Anything regarding Wart suddenly stopped over a decade ago and any trace of them vanished almost entirely.

Growing up in harsh poverty, the boy who became KNIGHT knew nothing but struggle and pain and vowed to live a life where such things would never come back and give back to the village he was from after having watched so many of his loved ones die from famine and starvation. His first exposure to any semblance of wealth came at claiming a small bounty even though in the fight, KNIGHT was almost killed himself. This sparked something within him, that he will achieve content living free of strife at any cost. In due time, after innumerable adventures and claimed bounties, after clawing his way to the top, he had finally made it. However, this came at costly sacrifices; many gangs and guilds KNIGHT was a part of were wiped out when rival gangs paid higher for him to betray them and he in turn betrayed them as the contracts grew higher and higher. Politicians who enlisted his services would be taken out by KNIGHT himself when other adversaries offered higher. KNIGHT became a lone wolf with a reputation as a backstabbing traitor who would “turn in his own family if it meant a pretty penny.” KNIGHT underwent an existential crisis believing that he had lost himself and turned back on every value he had. Despite this, his talents were enlisted by Osmond, though it was not money that he promised, but something else that perhaps KNIGHT needed; a new start.

Battlefield
Years on the battlefield as a field medic has completely numbed her. She has seen enemy troops surrender and feign fealty, only to betray and slaughter their captors. She has seen her own allies commit unspeakable atrocities. And yet her position and her motto required that she supply help to anyone in need, be it medical attention or survival kits. This took a toll on her; can she really give help to those who commit harm to others willingly? Are they deserving of continued life if they looked to execute innocents but are wounded from falling on their own sword and in need of stitching? Nora decided to take matters into her own hands, becoming judge, jury, and executioner. Though, she herself did not execute, but let fate do so. If anyone she deemed unworthy were bleeding out, Nora left their fate in their hands. She abandoned her last post and hid out in a small town stuck in the middle of two warring factions she had deemed worthy of her skills as their main doctor, giving to those in need. Despite this relatively obscure town, her actions and duties caught wind of the two warring factions, hoping to kidnap her and recruit her services to their respective sides.

Formerly a member of a gang of bandits, Delgado left the lifestyle with his members’ blessing after meeting the love of his life, Olesia. The love was unfortunately cut short when rivals Delgado had made as part of his tenure came and murdered Olesia. Driven by survivor’s guilt and rage, Delgado planned to contact his old gang when he found that they too were taken out by a separate party aiming to claim their bounties. Alone, Delgado becomes a hired muscle, taking in bounties and working for various powerful figures such as politicians and crime lords. He hoped continuing his previous life would result in his own death, choosing to go down fighting as it’s what life always seemed to give him. He meets Miss Cherry, whose personality greatly resembles Olesia’s, and pledges himself to be her shield and protect her from any and all threats and obstacles. This devotion and this creed becomes Delgado’s one motivation for living; for Miss Cherry, his former gang/friends, and his love, Olesia.
