Mary Isaak, COTS' co-founder, was an advocate of providing good food for everyone, no matter their economic status. She grew food for Chez Panisse, one of the finest and most expensive restaurants in the Bay Area. She also cooked wonderful food for those who had little or no money. COTS still operates under Mary's belief that nutritious and delicious food is a human right. Thanks to support from our donors, local grocers and a generous funder, we are able to provide meals that always include fresh fruits and vegetables and always include vegetarian options.
Join us for a free and delicious meal at the Mary Isaak Center, 900 Hopper Street, Petaluma. Hours are:
Lunch: 11:30 to 12:30
Dinner: 5:00 to 5:55
Non-Mary Isaak Center residents may pick up a to-go meal. Residents may dine indoors.
Here at COTS, we strive to provide you with a balanced lunch and dinner that is not only nutritious but tastes good too! The USDA recommends a combination of fruits, vegetables, protein, grains, and dairy. Think about your plate or tray being divided into four segments, with vegetables and grains being the largest servings. And of course, dessert is fine, as long as it is in moderation!
