The Challenge

Businesses need to have systems that are dependable to operate continuously without failing. They have to offer a high level of operational performance and quality over a relevant time period.

My Role

I was a UI/UX designer of High Avaialibility Application. I worked as a independent contributor and was a sole designer for the product. 

Showcase 

Following screens shows High Avaialibility Application plugin. Dashboard shows current status of the applications and allows administrator to take actions.  

Following are the features of High Avaialibility Application. 

1. Autodiscover application services and their availability status

2. Simple 3 click creation of remediation policies

3. Safe VM restart (through HA API) of VMs in case of application restart failure

4. Integration with VC alarms to provide visibility to application downtime

Accomplishments 

High Avaialibility Application is one of the company's core products. Most of the UI elements can still be seen in the product. Administrators liked the product and said it clearly shows the system status and helps take required actions. 

The Challenge

Design a solution for Windows Azure administrators to monitor and take complete control of applications so that businesses can keep critical apps always up and running and business continuity is assured. 

The Solution

Multipathing solution provides the multi-pathing capability to the native devices on the system. Multipathing solution creates metadevices to represent all the device e paths to the same physical LUN.
