The Challenge

Education company has a solution for CBSE schools. The problem faced by business was that although huge amount was spent on sales and marketing and thousands of schools adopted the solution due to the brand name, the solution itself was poorly designed and lacked usability. Very few schools continued with the solution and complained it was too difficult to use.

My role

I was a lead researcher and designer for the project. I started by conducting Heuristic review of the existing solution and understood all the problems users and business was facing with the solution. To understand what problems schools faced, we visited around 5 schools and conducted contextual inquiry in the schools with students and teachers. After this, I proposed a design solution. Once the solution was designed, we conducted Usability Testing in the schools and refined our design after that.

The Challenge

Insurance Company wanted to create a virtual onboarding module to save cost on classroom training for sales representatives. The virtual onboarding program was organized as a journey map comprising various activities for the new joiner.
