 My experience has provided me with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully lead a basketball program, while emphasizing the teaching of essential life skills through the game of basketball. 

• 12 years of coaching in public schools

• 1 year as an assistant coach at the collegiate level (2012)

• 2 years as the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Bridgeport HS in UIL Class 4A - More than doubled win total from year 1 to year 2

• 9 years as an assistant basketball coach in programs who regularly achieved deep playoff runs and winning success

  • Two UIL State Tournament appearances in Class 5A (2017, 2018)

  • One UIL Regional Finalist in Class 5A (2019)

  • Two times as a UIL Regional Quarterfinalist in Class 6A (2016, 2022)

  • Three District Championships (2017, 2018, 2019)

• Basketball playing experience at both the high school (UIL 5A) and collegiate level (NAIA)
