ASSISTANT COACHING DUTIES:

VARSITY ASSISTANT COACH:

1st Varsity assistant will assist in all aspects of in game and practice planning for Varsity team during the season.
Will help plan practices, help with game plan decision making and implementation of these items for the Varsity.
Will be in charge of transition defense and half court defensive adjustments during games and practices for the Varsity.
Will put together a manager’s schedule of assigned duties and will be in charge of making sure managers and student assistants are doing assigned tasks.
Will be in charge of film break down on HUDL. You will need to break down clips from the defense on HUDL before the next days practice. This will need to be done by 10 AM of the next day on Tuesday games and before Saturday at 10 AM if games are on Friday.
Will be in charge of getting preseason films on HUDL and stating and clipping these games in HUDL from all district opponents and defenses they run.
Get 2 films for each non-district game put into HUDL. Freshman coaches will need to get both games shot charted before the beginning of the first practice before that game.
Will be in charge of Rankone and MaxPreps (schedules, player info, etc.).
During pre-district games have scouting film shot charted before the first practice before that game (before the start of the previous game) alternate with Freshman coaches.
Will help at middle school practices after school on certain days, I will need you to rotate through each campus to make sure coaches have all info they need and help them to implement drills and culture at the middle schools.
Will put together mandatory tutorial program and manage grade sheets.
Will help grade practice film and game films to determine impact points.
Help maintain equipment inventory for practice uniforms and Varsity team.
Have one day during the week of laundry duty. (wash, dry and sling into lockers)

JV HEAD COACH/VARSITY ASSISTANT:

2nd Varsity assistant and head JV Coach during the season.
Will help assist with JV and Varsity during practices.
Will be offensive assistant during games and practices. Will run offensive drills during break down time. Will also help with offensive adjustments during games for the Varsity.
Will be in charge of film break down on HUDL. You will need to break down clips from the offense on HUDL before the next days practice. Will need to be done by 10 AM of the next day on Tuesday games and before Saturday at 10 AM if games are on Friday.
Will assist Varsity assistant coach in working with managers. Your main focus when dealing with managers is to help managers get film equipment to and from games. You will also help get camera set up and taken down at home and away games.
Once you get camera from game, you will immediately get game started uploading on HUDL. You will then clip up offensive clips from the game. Any highlight plays or well executed sets will go into a playlist for the year.
During pre-district games have scouting film shot charted before the first practice before that game (before the start of the previous game) alternate with Varsity assistant coach
Will need to have all travel requests for all teams put in by beginning of October (want to get to games before the game before us starts).
Will be in charge of getting 4 preseason films on HUDL and stating and clipping these games in HUDL from: non-district opponents--identify BLOBS, and defenses they run.
Will help at middle school practices after school on certain days, I will need you to rotate through each campus to make sure coaches have all info they need and help them to implement drills and culture at the middle schools.
Help maintain equipment inventory for Junior Varsity teams.
Have one day during the week of laundry duty. (wash, dry and sling into lockers)

FRESHMAN COACHES:

3rd Varsity assistant and head 9th A/B coach at and in charge of all aspects of in game and practice planning for all 9th A/B teams during the season.
Will help at middle school practices after school on certain days, I will need you to rotate through each campus to make sure coaches have all info they need and help them to implement drills and culture at the middle schools.
On days that you are not at a middle school, you will assist with JV and Varsity practice and help out where you are needed.
Will be in charge of middle school assistant duties during games which will consist of book, minutes chart, offensive and defensive possession charts.
Help maintain equipment inventory for freshman teams.
Have one day during the week of laundry duty. (wash, dry and sling into lockers)
