I received my BSc and MSc in Biochemistry at University of Belgrade, Serbia. I TA'ed and I was working as a Module Lead at Petnica Research Center in Valjevo, Serbia, where I helped high school kids with their Life Science research projects. After my studies I worked in the publishing industry for two years at MDPI as an editor and tutor to new colleagues.
To be honest, I'm not entirely sure where my true scientific interests lie, but I'm sure I'll find my niche within this group. My previous research areas were centered around biotechnology, specifically α-amylase protein engineering.
Hobbies and interests: Playing and making music (badly), basketball, working out, chess and a whole lot more!
