My name is Makoto and I am a sophomore majoring in biochemistry (B.S.) and minoring in mathematics.
I am an undergraduate volunteer in Dr. Prišić's Lab and every day is a learning experience. Being part of a microbiology lab lets me gain valuable experience, knowledge, and lab techniques via various aspects of microbiology. My future dream is to pursue medicine and research has provided me with a greater understanding of biological systems and scientific methods. Being surrounded by amazing people and projects truly fascinates me and is truly an honor to work with this group.
Hobbies: Tennis, running, music
