Aloha!

I graduated from UH Mānoa with a BS in Biology and minor in Japanese. I worked in the Prisic lab as a junior and senior, and then joined as a graduate student. Currently, I am working understanding the function of individual AltRPs in Mycobacterium smegmatis. I am also mentoring undergraduate students.

Those considering research should absolutely get involved with a lab! It has definitely helped me gain confidence in a research setting and is a great opportunity to put classroom knowledge to use.
