GV-USB2 Capture Card (Any capture card works but this one is highly recommended for Composite/S-Video)
2 Male - Male Composite Cables / 2 Male to Male S-Video Cables if you're using S-Video
(This is for setting up GV-USB2, this can still work with other capture cards)
To set up GV-USB2, click the plus button on the bottom of sources, Click Video Capture Device, name it to whatever you want then click OK
Then make sure your GV-USB2 OBS Properties look like this:
Device: GV-USB2, Analog Capture
Deactivate when not showing: Unchecked
Resolution/FPS Type: Device Default
Color Space: Default
Color Range: Default
Buffering: Auto-Detect
Flip Vertically: Unchecked
Audio Output Mode: Capture audio only
Use custom audio device: Unchecked
Click Configure Video and make sure your settings look like this:
Vid Deinterlace Method: High Motion
Vid Input: Composite or S-Video (Use S-Video if available)
Aud Stereo Sys: NICAM
CPU: Support: SSE3
Next, Click Video Decoder and select NTSC_M if you are using NTSC-U/NTSC-J or PAL_B if you are using PAL.
The following is not required but is highly recommended, right click on the Capture Card on Sources then Click Filters
Add the filters Crop/Pad, Sharpen and Color Correction and make your settings like this:
Crop/Pad: Left: 40, Right 40, Relative: Checked
Sharpen: 0.25
Color Correction: Saturation: 0.10
Finally, right click on the Capture Card, select Deinterlacing, Top Field First and Yadif 2x.
Dolphin Emulator (Use an official build, unofficial builds could possibly run at inaccurate speeds & slow or speed up load times)
Pac-Man World 2 ISO (Use Google.com or CleanRip to get an ISO, DO NOT ASK FOR AN ISO ON DISCORD, DISTRIBUTING ROMS/ISOS IS AGAINST DISCORD TERMS OF SERVICE)
This section you help you make sure your Emulator runs smoothly and is ready for speedruns.
First Click Config
Check Dual Core (Dual Core helps dolphin run at a constant 60 fps, it's not required to be on but is recommend if you have issues)
CPU Emulator Engine: JIT Recompiler
Interface can be set to your preference.
Click Audio.
DSP Emulator Engine: DSP LLE recompiler
GameCube & Wii can be set to your preference.
Click Advanced and make sure you have CPU Clock Override unchecked or else a lot of inaccuracies will occur.
Close Config and open Graphics
Then make sure your settings match this:
Internal Resolution: Native (640x528)
Anti-Aliasing: None
Anisotropic Filtering: 1x
Scaled EFB Copy, Per-Pixel Lighting and Force Texture Filtering should be checked.
Stereoscopy should be untouched.
Everything in advanced should be unchecked
Hacks should be set to this:
And finally, click the PMW2 ISO on your ISO/GAME list select properties. and GameConfig should look like this:
Patches, AR Codes, and Gecko Codes should be empty.
The following isn't required, but go to task manager, select Dolphin, go to details and change priority to High, this will make lag spikes happen less for weak computers.
