This was the first release of Pac-Man World 2 on the GameCube releasing on March 12, 2002 and is built off of the PlayStation 2 Greatest Hits/1.1 release. Both Black Label and the Player's Choice re-release are exactly identical and is generally the version that is commonly used for speedruns. This is because its one out of two versions that allows you to rev-roll into the Boss machines in Inky and Pinky without being knocked back and not having to wait 3 seconds on the map screen after completing them. However lava has different properites as he cannot rev-roll smoothly into it as his speed is lost, therefore he has to face against a wall to clip out of bounds. This makes the skip slightly harder, but it is still very consistent to pull off.
Releasing on May 3, 2002, This is the second version to release on GameCube.
