General Differences
This page shows general version differences that don't strictly apply to a level or boss.
PS2 1.0:
Different save menu.

Pac-Man starts with 3 lives on 1.0 instead 5 and your last life is 1 on 1.0 and 0 on 1.1.
All ghosts are 1 hit KO regardless of your health on 1.0 even if you have a chrome ball.
Chrome ball lasts 10 seconds shorter. (20s On 1.0 & 30s on 1.1)

Both versions along with PAL/JP PS2 have a 0.5s music delay when touching a level complete trigger.
PS2 1.1:
You have to wait 3 seconds on the map screen after beating a boss or completing a level with 0%.
XBOX:
The music vol is set to 75 and the sfx vol is set to 100. --->
8 Frame Jumping out of pac-dot chains is impossible.

PAL GCN/PS2:
Due to the lower framerate, there are many changes to some things which will be listed on the version differences tab on Levels (PAL PMW2 runs at 50FPS).
You're asked to save even if you don't have a memory card in, and you're also asked to continue game without saving game data (on PAL PS2 only).

X is switched to O on menus.

When pressing and holding L2, a giant red ring appears around Pac-Man and it shows your jump distance (Known as the Pac-Hoop).
Butt bouncing stops Pac-Man for a few frames.
Flipkicking crates/chests is easier.
Chrome Ball lasts 15s longer.
Jumping is more floatier.
Pac-Mans air drag is worse, which makes some speedrunning strats more difficult.
You have more control in the air and on the ground during a rev roll.
You can skip Boss cutscenes with X.

Pac-Mans Drop shadow is more dark.
