History: Once a renowned comedian known for his sharp wit and clever wordplay, the man who would become Pun Meister, the Jester of Jeopardy, was the star of every stage he graced. However, his life took a dark turn when a rival, envious of his talent, sabotaged his act, resulting in a tragic accident that left his face permanently disfigured.

Driven mad by the betrayal and his disfigurement, he donned the guise of an evil clown, adopting the moniker ‘Pun Meister’. He turned his once-joyful puns into weapons of chaos, using his twisted humor to orchestrate elaborate crimes that left the city in turmoil.

Night Scorpion emerged from the shadows to protect the city from the rising tide of crime. The first encounter between Pun Meister and Night Scorpion was unforgettable. As Pun Meister attempted to rob the city’s central bank with a riddle-laden heist, Night Scorpion intervened, deciphering the puns and foiling the plot. From that moment, they became archenemies, locked in a battle of wits and wills.

Pun Meister met the infamous Bitch Cakes during a heist at a high-security pun archive. She was there to steal the “Lexicon of Legendary Linguistics,” while Pun Meister was after the “Thesaurus of Tremendous Titters.” Their paths crossed, and a battle of wits ensued. Impressed by each other’s cunning and humor, they quickly formed an alliance. Their partnership in crime soon blossomed into romance, with Bitch Cakes becoming Pun Meister’s sidekick and girlfriend. 

Realizing the need for allies to combat his increasingly resourceful nemesis, Pun Meister joined the Legion of Villains, a syndicate of the city’s most notorious criminals, led by the Crimson Devil. Together, they launched a campaign of terror against the city, with Pun Meister’s cunning and Night Scorpion’s determination leading to a series of epic confrontations.

As the war between good and evil rages on, the city can only hope that Night Scorpion’s resolve will be enough to counter the malevolent mirth of Pun Meister and the Legion of Villains.

Recently, Pun Meister worked out Night Scorpion's secret identity as Billionaire Bill Kane. Using this newfound knowledge, he looked into Bill Kane's life with intense scrutiny until he found a way to defeat his nemesis. He found out Bill Kane has a daughter, he did not know about, one that was about to be drafted into a war for the soul Empire City.
