How To Join
Ah, here we are once again, joining an RP group. Whether you are familiar with joining groups or you are completely new to it, reading this page is very important! It will make sure you know how to properly join this group.
That being said, you will need to fill out this application form! By clicking on the image on the right, or clicking on one of the links below, it will take you to the application page. Download the image and follow the instructions provided below.
Welcome! To get started on creating your application for PKMN Fantasy-High, you will have to create two characters! The column on the left should be filled out with your High School Student, and the column on the right should be filled out with your Fantasy character.
Once you have finished that, please fill out the information below! Anything with a * in front of it means it is mandatory!
Some notes to remember before getting started:
- Your High School Student must be wearing their uniform. Learn more about the uniforms here. PKMN Fantasy-High: Uniform Guide
- Your Fantasy character is based on what your High School character would design!
- The Fantasy character's design does NOT have to match the High School Student's appearance. Name, Age, Gender, Species, ect can all be different or the same. It's up to you!
- The High School Student is NOT aware that they will turn into their Fantasy character when entering the Fantasy World. Perhaps they will make something they will regret?
- You cannot swap out Fantasy characters once they have been created. Your High School student is stuck with who they have forever.
- When becoming the Fantasy character, the High School student will retain their mind/personality. The Fantasy character's personality/history will not actually come into play until later in the story.
VISUAL PORTION
When making a character, the student should be on the left side, and the fantasy character should be on the right side. The student should follow proper uniform, and the fantasy characters should follow a proper medieval/fantasy setting.
For the student, fill out their name, species, Age/Gender, Archetype/Accessories. Archetype can be anything you want that describes your character within 1-4 words.
For the Fantasy Character, fill out their name, species/race, Age/Gender, Main Class & Weapon. Their classes must be one of the main ones listed here, however you can also add a subclass as long as it fits within that main class.
The characters must have their Pokémon species be recognizable and the art must meet basic anatomy standards. If you are commissioning someone, you can leave a written description of the character instead while you wait for a drawing to be made for you.
WRITTEN PORTION
The written portion is what you will put in the description of your deviation, not on the application art itself. Copy the information you see here and replace it with your own character's information. Anything with a * beside it is mandatory.
High School Student
*Name

*Gender
-- What gender is your character? You can put them down as male, female, agender, genderfluid, transgender, etc.
Please refrain from making your character's gender ???, [REDACTED], or any other wording that makes it not clear what their gender is.
*Pokémon Species
-- Your character’s Pokémon species.
(Must be an Anthro Pokemon. Legendaries and UB’s are allowed. Arceus and Giritina are banned)
Beta Pokemon Designs are also allowed:
*Age
-- Pick between 16-21
(Freshmen = 16/17, Sophomore = 17/18, Junior = 18/19, Senior 19-20, Alumni = 21+)
*Birthday
-- Put down the day and month.
*Height
-- How tall your student is, in ft & in/ m & cm
*Weight
-- How heavy/light is your student, in lbs/kg

*Personality
-- Just a few lines about your character's personality is needed at the very least. Write as much as you can to help yourself and others understand exactly what your character is like. Be sure to have them balanced though; characters with little to no negative traits, or positive traits, are not as likely to be accepted as characters who have a balanced number of both the good and bad personality traits.
*Archtype
-- If you were to summarize your character into a single type of person, what would it be? Examples can be found on Page 3 of this document.

-- Have your High School student describe your Fantasy character's personality! Remember, it's your High School Student that is making the history, not you. Feel free to go crazy with this one, as long as it makes sense for what your High School character would write. Just remember, this will not come into play when the student goes to the fantasy world, as their personality will overwrite this one!

(Note, modern weapons will be strictly judged. We don't want any overpowered weapons such as guns!)

-- What does your character enjoy doing? Again, this won't come into play when the student goes to the fantasy world. But it will be needed for later.

Once you have created your application and are ready to join, you will want to go to our Character_Application page on our discord, and submit there! We will then hopefully get to your application as soon as we can to let you know if anything needs fixing. Once we've deemed that your application is good, you will officially become a member of the group!
