A People’s Drive for a People’s Vote - with Google Drive!
Many of you are already fully engaged in campaigns of one kind or another but to encourage an even greater effort all round the country we are launching:
This facility makes use of Google Drive and is really simple to use. Just click the link to our EMLetterHub, pick a letter you like, copy and tailor it to you, and email it off. We’ll even help you find email addresses, and give you other useful tips.
Each week, we will feature letters that are topical or have been successful in other branches. With the talent around our branches, we can work together to write some brilliant ones, to our MP’s and our local papers.
As part of the launch of this facility we need each branch to nominate a co-ordinator who will promote the facility within the branch, to feedback what works and doesn’t work, and optionally to track who is writing to whom, and/or to upload their successful letters for others to share.

Bored of writing letters to your MP? Try sending a voicemail. Best for Britain have worked with developers to create an app to let you send a 60 second voicemail to your MP. Messages are moderated to ensure the process is not abused. MPs also receive a text version, but they are encouraged to listen to your voice.
Sevenoaks and Swanley Together in Europe (SSTIE) have sent their members detailed recommendations, including this template for a letter to Theresa May, which they recommend copying to your own MP:

Dear Prime Minister
You ask for our support for a deal that is worse than our present arrangements with the EU.
I am writing to let you know that I most emphatically do not support the Withdrawal Deal that you have negotiated with the European Union and that I want it to be rejected by the Members of the House of Commons.
If you really want to know what the public think, enact legislation to give a People’s Vote with the options being your deal or staying in the EU.
