What is a Clown?
Clowns are predatory creatures that look similar to Mimes at first glance, but have noticeable differences like their ears, nubby tails, frowns, longer bodies, and visible nostrils.
Clowns are a very hostile creature, and with their ability to squeeze themselves into impossibly small spaces they've been known to break into Krin homes and farms to eat people's pets or farm animals. Some people have attempted to try to tame Clowns, but due to their solitary and aggressive nature it's only resulted in the Krin getting attacked and the Clown escaping into the wild.
It's unknown how Clowns reproduce, but it's rumored that they are somewhat related to Mimes even though they behave extremely differently.
Unlike Mimes, Clowns have two rows of razor sharp teeth and are able to turn their paws into claws in order to better hunt their prey.
Clowns will hunt anything, even if it is bigger than them... This includes Krinkits.
To the right is an example of a Clown preparing to attack:
Baby Clowns are called Clownlings, and adult Clowns will usually leave their babies in groups of Mimes in order to trick them into raising their young for them. Clownlings also resemble Mimes in general, and Krinkits often mistake Clownlings for full grown Mimes and try to adopt them as pets.
This usually leads to the Krinkit getting attacked once the Clownling matures and starts to hunt.
