This Guide explains how a special type of eye upgrade works: Dead-Eye
You may have met a pair of NPCs named Tinkerton and Tonkerson- These characters have the unique trait Dead-Eye!
You'll notice the scars on their faces and multicolored eyes that look exactly the same, yet are on opposite sides of their faces.
Dead-Eye happens when a Krinkit is born with a mysterious scar over one of their eyes. When this Kit's eyes first open, parents may be shocked to find that one of their Krinkit's eyes has colors different to their normal, healthy eye. The Krinkit may be prone to wander when older.
Somewhere else in Avo, a creature is born/hatches with a scar over their other eye- With the same design as the Krinkit. This creature is usually abandoned by it's parents, and begins to wander closer to where the dead-eyed Krinkit lives.
Once both Krinkit and Creature meet, they will gain the ability to understand each other telepathically.
These two are Soul-Bound from birth, and will share a friendship for life.
The fun part about Dead-Eye is that you can make up ANYTHING YOU WANT for their eye and eye-scars!
The bad part? That eye will be Permanently Blind for both your Creature and Krinkit you design it for.
That's why it's called "Dead" eye!
After you pick an eye on your Krinkit to be their "dead-eye" you must pick the opposite eye on your creature. Both eyes must look the same and both sets of scars must be the same, just on opposite sides of the face for both the Krin and Creature.
You may pick any creature from the Fauna page, even wild and hostile ones!
Be warned, your Dead-Eye Creature will only be passive around your Dead-Eye Krin. So maybe don't give your City-Living Krin a wild animal <:)
