However, Pactbearers may, on rare occasion, be granted the privilege to wield the shears for a singular purpose. Effect: This item grants the user the power to sever their current alignment, enabling them to change the faction of a Pawn they own.

It may be used once every three months, and you may not immediately return to your previous Patron, so if you left Chronicle to join Wander, you could use another in 3 months to join War, but not Chronicle again, if you wait another three months you could join Chronicle again, but not Wander
