In the server we have a variety of events and quests of various types, so there's always something to do, and usually multiple options to choose from. To learn more about what these entail, please see the guides below.
Events are large, server-wide activities that usually require everyone in the server to work together to complete or to obtain the best prizes from. They encourage everyone to come together and do their part in changing the world, or at the very least keeping it stable. This may include things such as boss fights, or special combat appearances to farm for unique event currency. Events help to remind everyone that while you may be in different factions, the world you share is the same.
Events run for One Month.
Quests are activities that do not require the entire server to work together on to complete in any way, they are also often, but not always, able to be completed only once. They rarely, if ever, give prizes that are as special as events, and never have a unique currency tied to them. They can generally be completed at your own pace, for a flat known prize each time.
Quests last for One Month.
Faction quests are quests made for your faction only, they will usually be story relevant leading up to future Quests and Events, they chain together until they hit a story crescendo, and can be completed or failed -- if no one in your faction does the faction quest, that quest will fail, altering the course of the story. Your actions have consequences in this world. They are given out by your faction leader, and you must turn them in to your faction area to earn completion. Mods will not track Faction Quest Entries not added to their Faction Quest Area.
Faction quests run for One Month, and are paused during Events.
When you turn in faction quests, remember to turn them in at your Faction's 'Faction-Quests' chat, under the quest itself, for it to count! If you fail to do so, your Faction Quest will be considered 'not complete' for the sake of story progression.
Mini quests are small, easy to complete, laid back quests given by NPCs, this may be something like drawing or writing a very short piece about some sort of item, culling a certain kind of creature in combat, or even just making a tea blend inspired by your OC! We try to keep these varied, but regular, and rotate them through NPCs.
Mini Quests last Two Weeks to One Month, depending on outside factors.
These are special quests that are meant to show your character's inspiration and growth; they are open indefinitely and never close down, as well as usually coming with a hefty coin bonus for completing. As an example, the first Character Development Prompt was to depict in art or writing your character's arrival to the world, and it gives an extra 200 Coins when completed on top of the usual Character Development Prompt bonus.
