Off The Record, founded by Sanjna Selva '21 & Hadia Bakkar '20, is the only platform on Skidmore’s campus dedicated exclusively to documenting and preserving the unfiltered work and experiences of underrepresented communities on campus.

We welcome all forms of creative or non-creative work made by members of underrepresented communities at Skidmore (e.g. people of color, LGBTQ+, international, immigrant, refugee, people with disabilities, economically disadvantaged). Our mission is to uplift your voices and share your unfiltered experiences. Off The Record does not reject submissions based on quality.

We accept art, poetry, creative essays, photography, opinion pieces, playlists, recipes, and everything in between. Submissions may appear in an online collection (published monthly) and in a physical publication distributed once per semester.
